Take an enthusiastic dose of red, white, and blue, then add a large heaping of heat and humidity, and you have a good representation of the 2016 edition of the Peachtree Road Race, the world’s largest 10K held every July 4th in Atlanta.
The old song goes “Summer Time and the Livin’ is Easy” but for some of us, summer time meant summer jobs and earning some money. When I was in fifth or sixth grade, I put a sign up in two convenience stores near our neighborhood that read, “Will Mow Lawns in Allenwood. Call David at ________.”
For the third year in a row, two Fayetteville churches travelled to Brazil and joined Brazilian Baptists in a massive effort to share the Gospel. This year’s trip concentrated on Joacaba and Idaial, Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil.
