Our mission is to love people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible is God’s Word to man, divinely inspired, without error and a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It is the means provided to mankind by God to help us know about God, His salvation, and how we are to live in relationship to Him and our fellow man.
We believe that there is one God who is the creator and sustainer of all and that he reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that mankind was created by God and that Adam and Eve are the physical parents of all mankind. We believe that Adam and Eve sinned against God and from that point all men are sinners by nature and in need of a savior.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only means for forgiveness and salvation of man. We believe that he was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross for our sins, rose again on the third day, ascended to the Father, and will return again one day.
We believe the church was established by Christ to be a blessing to the world as it shares the Good News of Salvation through Christ, Worships God together, equips its members for ministry, teaches God’s word, holds one another accountable, and works to minister to others. It is the body of all believers everywhere who work together, give of their resources, and serve God’s purposes. McDonough Road Baptist Church is a local body of believers who work together to carry out those purposes.
